Candidates who are enrolled in any institution but lack a JAMB registration number have the possibility to apply through JAMB Late Application (formerly known as “regularization“).

JAMB charges a N10,000 late application fee. To finish it, adhere to the steps listed below.

Regularization Process for JAMB

1. If you are a new user, you must establish a profile using the Sign Up (New User) Page. Existing users need only enter their login information. You must enter a working email address, first and last name, mobile number, state of origin, local government area, and password in order to establish your profile. After doing so, click the Sign-Up button. There can only be one profile per candidate.

2. You must then sign in with your email address and password.

3. After logging in, you will be directed to the landing page, where you may view all services that are offered.

Choose “Late (Retroactive) Application” in step four. This can be found in the sidebar.

5. After being chosen, the “Late Application” menu item will be displayed. Click here.

6. A Transaction ID is created for this service once you choose it. This will be shown on the screen of the confirmation page.

7. Go over the information on the Confirmation Page. Also, take note of the bold red font used to represent the Transaction ID. For all upcoming references pertaining to the Transaction, the Transaction ID is helpful. You will receive a copy of this transaction ID at the email address you have on file.

9. Fill up your card information on the Interswitch Payment page and press the Pay button.

10. The “My Payment Section” will show the status of your payment. After payment, you will receive an SMS and email with your specific Transaction Identification and payment status. On the Continue button, click.

Regularization of JAMB for Part-Time, Sandwich, and Online Students

In order to have accurate data on undergraduate students in all Nigerian Universities and other Tertiary Institutions, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has integrated the admission process of candidates for the Part-Time Degree Program into the Central Admissions Processing Syst. This is to inform all Part-Time / Sandwich Students in all Nigerian Tertiary Institutions (i.e. Universities, Polytechnics, College of Education, etc.) of this development (CAPS).

Due to the aforementioned, all part-time students registered in Nigerian tertiary institutions are urged to visit the JAMB e-facility platform right away and submit individual documents for document registration.

All students must complete the process at one of the authorized JAMB CBT Centers and fill out the JAMB Indemnity Form.

The form must be completed by the students and then approved and signed by the dean of your institution’s School of Continuing Education (SCE) or Part-Time Studies before being submitted to the JAMB headquarters.

Students can go to the JAMB website here https://jamb.gov.ng/ to print their Admission letters and obtain their unique REG numbers after the indemnity forms have been approved by the JAMB.

Prospective Part-Time Candidates who want to enroll in any of the Part-Time / Sandwich programs in any Nigerian Tertiary Institution MUST first enroll with JAMB by paying the fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N3,500) only for the JAMB Part-Time / Sandwich / Distance Learning Form before continuing to pay for the part-time forms for the respective institution.
