This is a comprehensive list of WAEC Held Results 2022/2023 for students yet to see their WAEC Results.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) reiterated that all results that were withheld in its exams were due to purported malpractice.
This was said by Mr. Patrick Areghan, the Head of the National Office, in an interview given on Thursday in Lagos.
He was commenting in response to media reports that claimed the council had withheld the results of candidates purportedly for the 2022/2023 WASSCE on purpose.
“Reports in various quarters have attracted our attention to the council’s alleged deliberate withholding of candidate results from some states across the nation.”
“This, I will say, is evil, malicious, deceptive, and a deliberate attempt to tarnish or bring shame upon the reputation of the council.
It is complete ignorance. To be clear, any candidate whose results are withheld has engaged in alleged examination misconduct.
“Innocent candidates will have their results released, while the guilty ones will have that subject or their complete results revoked, after necessary investigations of all reported examination malpractice cases.”
The WAEC director said, “This will be in accordance with the Nigeria Examinations Committee’s directive.”
He claimed that the examining body was eager and prepared to keep friendly relations with all of its constituents.
“However, we have our proof, and anyone who is unsure can contact us. Anywhere we are asked to speak, we are always prepared to do so.
We adhere to our policies and guidelines.
“And we never apply separate sets of rules to various states in the country, or offer any preferential treatment to any candidate, school, or state for that matter.
Furthermore we apply the same set of laws to all of the country, regardless of what it takes or who is involved.”
